Dan’s experience in professional liability and insurance defence dates back more than 20 years. A partner of Purser Dooley Cockburn Smith LLP, Dan is certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a Specialist in Civil Litigation and has restricted his practice to professional liability and discipline cases and insurance defence and appeal work. Dan has successfully argued numerous appeals at the Court of Appeal for Ontario and the Divisional Court, Superior Court of Justice.
