Melanie joined Purser Dooley Cockburn Smith LLP in 2007 after practicing at a full service firm in downtown Toronto.
Melanie practices exclusively in the area of civil litigation with an emphasis on insurance defence litigation.
Melanie has appeared at many levels of court including the Divisional Court and Court of Appeal. Melanie has achieved favourable results for her clients at private mediations and arbitrations. She is dedicated to servicing her clients in a cost effective and timely manner to meet her client’s business and financial goals.
Melanie is affiliated with numerous professional organizations. She is also a sectional member of the Insurance division of the Ontario Bar Association.
Melanie is a volunteer with the May Court Club of Barrie which supports numerous local charities. Melanie enjoys golfing and running.
